Multi-Connective Interactive Co-Culture Plate (ICCP) - 2 Pairs + 2 Body-C Parts

Sterile and disposable Interactive Co-Culture Plate (ICCP) parts A, B and one or more Body-C parts are connected side-by-side which allows the cell populations to share growth media and secretion factors without cross-contamination while all cultures are clearly visible with a microscope.

 

Important features:

 

- Only commercial product that allows the simultaneous observation of a 3 (Parts A-C-B) or 4 (Parts A-C-C-B) cell line co-culture system! 

 

-Allows researchers to use the same or different growth surface materials for all cell populations.

 

-Wells A, B and C can also be used separately which permits cells to be cultured independently for various purposes including use as negative controls.

 

-O-ring and filter system prevents cross-contamination between cell lines and allows only the growth media and secretion factors to be shared.

 

-Pore filter size is adjustable allowing researchers to customize the ICCP system to permit transfer of only specific transcripts or secretion factors.

 

- The base adapter included in each blister pack is the same size as a Microscope Glass Slide to simplify sample observation.

One set of the Multi-Connective Interactive Co-Culture Plate Includes:

- One Interactive Co-Culture Blister Pack containing:  Well A ×2, Well B ×2, Top Cover ×4, Sidewall Cover ×4, Docking Plate ×1, and O-ring ×2

- One Two Pack Box of Body-C Parts containing:  Well C x2, Top Cover x2, Sidewall Cover x4, O-ring x2 and Slide Adaptor

Please Note:  Filters are sold separately.  Round filters with a 13mm diameter are available.

Coverslip Compatibility Requirements:

The diameter of the well inner space is 11mm so it is recommended to use a 10mm round glass cover for immunostaining.

Filter Handling Tips:

- If filter is not sterile, first dip filter in 70% ethanol solution for 3 to 30 minutes.

- If filter is sterile, there is no need to dip in 70% ethanol first.

- Next, because ICCP filters have very small pores, wet the filters in media with tapping to avoid air contamination in pores.

- Set filter into ICCP unit.

- Filter should also be dipped in 70% ethanol for 3 to 30 minutes between other manipulations.
